What’s that?

This was at Irons Forge, can you guess what it is? Send an email to What’s that and the first member (or member to be) to guess correctly wins a bucket of coal at the next MBA meet you attend. And you get to keep the bucket.

Pat is the winner, it’s a tire shrinker.

About Us

The Maritime Blacksmiths Association (MBA) is a volunteer, non-profit association formed in accordance with the Societies Act of Nova Scotia to promote blacksmithing in the Maritimes. Getting blacksmiths together to learn and teach is its primary initial goal. MBA is an affiliate organization of the Artists-Blacksmiths Association of North America.

Annual Membership (to be renewed at the beginning of each calendar year) costs $25 for a family and entitles the adult family members to attend all MBA functions at the member rate and receive the newsletter and event notices. Members may serve as officers and/on committees. Family members under the age of 18 are encouraged to participate but must accompanied by an adult family member.

The $25 membership fee can be paid in person at the next meeting or by sending a cheque payable to Maritime Blacksmiths Association, PO Box 46048 Novalea RPO, Halifax, NS, B3K 5V8.
